BluePower CD Review....The Soul Deacons....Skippin' Church!

A week or so ago, my wife and I were on our way to Temecula to see her father. It's a tedious drive to Temecula so I always take a fresh supply of new CDs to listen to on the way.

Lori popped in a couple that weren't exactly what we needed to hear at that particular time. Then she popped in a disc that completely rocked us out. I asked, "Who is that?" To which she replied, "It's a group called The Soul Deacons." We drove the rest of the way listening to one of the best bands we'd heard in a long, long time.

The songs are arranged well and the production is excellent. As a producer myself, I wish to congratulate Steve O'Neill on a masterful job of engineering and mixing as well as wearing the producer's hat.

Vocals are exciting and fresh; delivered by Brother E. Clayton.

The band, all exceptional musicians, hail from Santa Fe, New Mexico. You can see their names below.

Sit back and enjoy The Soul Deacons....Skippin' Church!
